EN| From September on beaches are becoming more and more empty as if by magic. The sand is very different to summer, a little bit dull, but the consistence is firmer so it is perfect for endless beachwalks. And, suddenly there is so much space for dogs, bikes, paramotos, kite, fishermen and more.
ES| Desde septiembre las playas casí mágicamente, se ponen más y más vacías. La arena es muy distinto a la del verano, un poco mate gris pero al otro lado su consistencia es más sólida así que es perfecta para caminar sin fin. paraY de repente hay mucho espacio para perros, bicicleta, motos, kite, pescadores y otros.
DE| Ab September werden die Strände immer leerer wie durch Zauberhand. Der Sand ist anders als im Sommer, grauer, stumpfer, aber er ist auch fester und somit perfekt für endlose Strandspaziergänge. Und plötzlich ist ganz viel Platz da für Hunde, Fahrräder, Paramotos, Kite, Fischer etc.

EN| Many of the inshore trails are without trees and therefore without shadow. So winter is the perfect time to try all the wonderful ways through the beautiful nature of Spain. Wetlands, pine woods, coast and mountains are quite close and waiting for you. Some trails you can find already here in my blog.
ES| Muchos senderos costeros carecen de arboles y por eso de sombra. Por eso el invierno es la temporada perfecta para probar todos los maravillosos caminos por la bella naturaleza de España. Marismas, pinares, costa y montañas están cerca y te esperan. Algunas rutas ya puedes encontrar en mi blog.

EN| The Costa de la Luz is a wellknown hotspot for all kind of surfing, and winter is the best time for practicing. Why? The waves are higher, wind is steady and there are no bathers to be considerated. With a wetsuit you are fine all year long.
ES| La Costa de la Luz es bien conocido como meca del surf y winter es la mejor temporada para practicarlo. Por qué? Las olas son más altas, el viento es estable y no hay bañistas que considerar. Con un neopreno estás bien durante todo el año.
DE| Die Costa de la Luz ist ein bekannter Surf-Hotspot und Winter ist die beste Zeit fürs Surfen. Warum? Die Wellen sind höher, der Wind beständiger und man muß keine Badegäste berücksichtigen. Mit einem Neopren bist Du das ganze Jahr gut ausgestattet.

EN| The province Cádiz offers the maximum of culture. Nearly all cities and White village are built on former Phoenician and Roman territory not to forget the Arabic influence in Andalusian history. Every time is culture time but if you want to take some nice fotos without people entering, winter is your time.
ES| La provincía de Cádiz ofrece el máximo de cultura. Casí todas las ciudades y pueblos blancos están construidos en tierra antiguamente fenícia o romana; ni hablar de la influencia arabé a la historia de Andalucía. Cada momento es un buen momento para hacer visitas pero si quieres sacar unas fotos sin personas de repente entrandolas el invierno es la mejor temporada.
DE| Die Provinz Cádiz bietet eine unglaubliche Menge an Kultur. Fast alle Städte und Weißen Dörfer sind auf ehemaligem Gebiet der Phönizier und Römer gebaut, nicht zu vergessen der Einfluß der Muselmannen auf die Geschichte Andalusiens. Es ist immer der richtige Moment für Besichtigungen, aber wenn Du ungestört Fotos machen möchtes, ohne daß plötzlich jemand in Dein Foto rennt, dann ist Winter die perfekte Zeit.
4| CHRISTMAS | NAVIDAD | WEIHNACHTEN
EN| Maybe surprising but although without snow there are Christmas vibes all around especially at night when the cities are full of lights and people and flamenco music. It is high season for Polvorones (a kind of Cookies), Turron (a kind of nougat) and Marzipan. The White Village Medina Sidonia is only about 30 minutes away and famous for its sweets; there, the manufacturar Aromas de Medina"offers from October till December the opportunity to buy directly from factory outlet. Of course, you cannot miss to visit a Christmas market. Winter Besugo Market takes place in San Fernando where a lot of craftspeople makes it easy to find pretty gifts. And, one more wonderful thing is the Christmas menú: Andalusian people really love to eat and drink. Especially the 25th of December is a must have spending the afternoon with an ample lunch in an restaurant or Chiringuito with friends.
ES| Tal vez una sorpresa pero también sin nieve y frio domina un ambiente de Navidad en todos lugares especialmente por la tarde cuando el centro de la ciudad está lleno de luces navideñas, gente y música flamenca. Es temporada alta para polverones, turrón y mazapán. El pueblo blanco Medina Sidonia está sólo a 30 minutos y es famoso por sus dulces; aquí la manufactura Aromas de Medina ofrece desde October hasta Deciembre la possibilidad de comprar directamente de fábrica. Por supuesto uno no debe perderse una visita al mercado de Navidad. El Besugo Market del invierno tiene lugar en San Fernando. Muchos artesanos locales te lo hacen fácil encontrar bonitos regalos. Y otra cosa maravillosa es el menú de Navidad. A la gente de Andalucía le gusta mucho comer y beber. Sobre todo el 25 de Deciembre se celebra en familia y amigos con un almuerzo extenso en un restaurante o chiriguito.
DE| Vielleicht eine Überraschung, aber auch ohne Kälte und Schnee herrscht allerorts Weihnachtsstimmung, besonders am Abend wenn die Innenstädte voll Lichter, Menschen und Flamenco Musik sind. Es ist Hochsaison für Polverones (eine Art Mürbteiggebäck), Turrón (eine Art Nougat) und Marzipan. Das Weiße Dorf Medina Sidonia, das sich 30 Minuten von Conil entfernt befindet, ist bekannt für seine Süßwaren; hier bietet der Hersteller Aromas de Medina seine Waren von Oktober bis Dezember als Fabrikverkauf an. Ein Christkindlmarktbesuch darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Der Winter Besugo Market findet in San Fernando statt. Viele lokale Kunsthandwerker machen es Dir leicht, hübsche Weihnachtsgeschenke zu finden, Und eine andere wunderbare Sache ist das Weihnachtsmenü. Die Andalusier lieben essen und trinken und so wird vor allem der 25. Dezember mit Freunden und Familie in einem Restaurant oder Chiringuito bei einem ausgiebigen Mittagessen gefeiert.
5| TURN OF THE YEAR | FIN DEL AÑO | SILVESTER
EN| I am eager to pass New Years Eve (Nocheviaja) in Conil and will tell you more about this experience in another blog. Yet there are some Bars in El Palmar with a nice music program for the last day of the year, e.g. Alsalvajo o Gran Baba.
ES| Estoy muy curiosa como será la nocheviaja en Conil y te lo contaré en otro artículo blog. Ya hay unos bares en El Palmar con una fantastica programa para el último día del año como el Asalvajo o el Gran Baba.
DE| Ich bin schon gespannt, wie Silvester (Nochevieja) in Conil wird und werde Dir meine Erlebnisse in einem anderen Blog erzählen. Es gibt schon einige Bars mit einem coolen Musikprogramm für den letzten Tag im Jahr wie das Asalvajo oder Gran Baba.

EN| Here one of my favorites things to do on a lazy winter Sunday. Just having a trip to Caños de Meca. Breakfast with sun at The Singular Coffee Shop. Followed by a beach walk and watching the Kite surfers. Then taking a sun bath at the Cape Trafalgar. And last but not least a drink at Ohana. Sure you are coming home happy.
ES| Esta es uno de mis cosas favoritas que hacer en un domingo de chill. Solamente yendo a Los Caños. Desayuno con sol en la cafetería The Singular Coffee. Siguiente una caminata por la playa y mirando la gente del kite surf. Luego tomar un baño de sol en el tómbolo de Trafalgar. Y después una caña en la Ohana. Seguramente que regreses a casa feliz.
DE| Hier eins meiner Lieblingsdinge für einen faulen Sonntag. Einfach nach Caños de Meca fahren. Frühstück im Café The Singular Coffee. Anschließend einen Strandspaziergang und Kite-Surfer beobachten. Dann am Kap Trafalgar in die Sonne legen. Und zuletzt ein Bierchen im Ohana. Ich bin sicher, Du kommst glücklich nach Hause.
