EN| The starting point is very easy to find. It is the end of the main street from San Fernando city to the beach Playa Camposoto right at the last rundabout. If you come by car there are plenty of possibilities to leave your car. On the whole trip there is no stop for refreshment and meal neither shadow.
ES| El punto de partida es muy fácil de encontrar. Se encuentra al final de la carretera principal desde San Ferando a la Playa Camposoto justo en la última redonda. Si te vas en coche hay muchas posibilidades de aparcarlo. Durante todo el recorrido no hay ninguna possibilidad de comprar un refresco o comida ni sombra.
DE| Der Startpunkt ist ganz einfach zu finden. Er befindet sich am Ende der Hauptstraße von San Fernando zum Playa Camposoto direkt am letzten Kreisverkehr. Wenn Du mit dem Auto anfährst, gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zu parken. Auf der gesamten Strecke gibt es keinen Halt, um Essen oder Trinken zu kaufen und auch keinen Schatten.

STAGE 01 | ETAPA 01
Parking > Batería Urrutia (3 km)
EN| At the starting point we find an informationboard about the tour. The trail is always leading over a wooden runway while we are walking far from any civilisation. On the right side we have an enchanting view to the dunes, the beach and the sea. At the left side we have a splendid view to the diversified landscap of the wetlands of the Bahía of Cádiz. The trail finishs at the ruins of the Batería de Urrutia, former battery and part of the defensive system which protected the southern entrance to the Isla of Leon and the interior of San Fernando.
ES| En la punta de salida encontramos un panel de información sobre el sendero. El camino nos guia siempre por una pasarela de madera mientras caminamos fuera de civilización. A mano derecha tenemos una vista encantadora a las dunas, la playa y el mar. A mano izquierda tenemos una vista hermosa del paisaje variado de las marismas de la Bahía de Cádiz. El sendero termina en las ruinas de la Batería de Urrutia, antiguamente una batería y parte del sistema defensiva que protegaba la entrada meridional a la Isla de Leon y el interior de San Fernando.
DE| Am Startpunkt befindet sich eine Hinweistafel über den Wanderweg. Der Weg führt uns stets über Holzstege, während wir fernab der Zivilisation laufen. Zur rechten Hand haben wir einen bezaubernden Ausblick auf die Dünen, den Strand und das Meer. Linker Hand haben wir einen großartigen Blick auf die abwechslungsreiche Landschaft des Feuchtgebiets der Bahía de Cádiz. Der Wanderweg endet bei den Ruinen der Batería de Urrutia, einer früheren Geschützstelle und Teil des Verteidigungssystems, das den südlichen Zugang zur Isla de Leon und das Innere von San Fernando geschützt hat.
STAGE 02 | ETAPA 02
Batería Urrutia > Punta de Boquerón (1 km)
EN| From the Batería de Urrutia we have a nice view to the other side, the beach of Sancti Petri with bars and water sport. We continue to walk till the entrance of the channel Caño de Santi Petri into the Atlantic Ocean. This last point of the isle is called Punta de Boquerón. After enjoying the beautiful landscape and the view to the castle of Sancti Petri we can return the same way, or walk back alongside the beach.
ES| Desde la Batería de Urrutia tenemos una vista linda al otro lado, la playa de Sancti Petri con chiringuitos y deporte náutico. Seguimos caminando hasta la embocadura del Caño de Sancti Petri en el océano Atlántico. Este último punto de la isla se llama Punta de Boquerón. Después de disfrutar de la paisaje bella y la vista al castillo de Sancti Petri podemos regresar por el mismo camino, o caminar por la orilla del mar.
DE| Von der Batería de Urrutia haben wir einen schönen Blick auf die andere Seite, den Strand von Sancti Petri mit Bars und Wassersport. Wir gehen weiter bis zur Mündung des Kanals Caño de Sancti Petri in den Atlantik. Der letzte Punkt der Insel heißt Punta de Boquerón. Nachdem wir die schöne Landschaft genossen haben und den Ausblick auf die Burg Castillo de Sancti Petri, können wir denselben Weg wieder zurück gehen oder am Meer entlang.
